ok so I talked to a guy who has a 06 taco fully built prerunner, mid 90s taco prerunner, and a couple other trucks/dirt bikes etc, he said:

---I can run a 6" lift leaf and drop shackle with my angles still good
---Outboarding my shocks can happen, will run chrom-o across the tops of my frames and cut off factory lower mounts/beef them up then reweld em.
--- or I could remove the leafs all together and throw in some adjustable coilovers w/ traction bars , get big ones that could still allow me to pull a trailer...(good idea BUT dont have the cash for big ass coilovers)
--- he sells lightbars, buys good parts, builds them and sells them. his 40" bar with spot/flood combo is $450, he also has a 20" bar and 4" circle LED lights dont know those prices though

tonight is a meet just down the street from me, Im going and Im taking my camera so I can get some ideas!

he said I could work on my truck there for a small fee, I told him I wanted to do the work and he can give me advice haha.

 

hey quick question J

how do you have your roof light wires running into your cab?

when i get my rack mounted i wanna get 4 spots on the front and 6 aux lights, 4 on the sides and 2 on the rear. but that many wires may make the 3rd brake a leaky mess haha

 

right now I have a red and black 8ga wire that goes to the top of my drivers door, then behind the door seal and into the A-pillar plastic cover and down behind my dash to my console in the floor on the trans hump.
