Yea you did it right, but you have to take the cap off to release the pressure from all the fluid that was in the calipers when you were extended pushing back into the master cylinder. if you dont itll compress the air because the fluid is uncompressable and as soon as you remove the clamp the pressure will force the fluid back into the caliper extending the pistons again. but its impossible for air to enter the system unless you have a leak somewhere or replaced a part an need to bleed it. Bleeding won't do anything. You could try taking the caliper off soaking it in pb blaster. Then throw a towel over it only exposing where the brake line connects to it an shoot some air at like 100 psi throw it. Making sure no one or anything is in front of it an the towel catching the piston. Then getting a cheap couple dollar brake hone an a rebuild kit. It's the cheapest option!

I drew up a pic real fast to show how it's impossible for air to get in. It's just fluid displacement and unless you were to have a leak or something there is no way for the air to get into the lines. I drew it showing what would happen if the cap was left on. The air being compressible an the fluid not, and the air being less dense itd be impossible to flow down into the lines.

Took every thing back apart. Cleaned the hell out of everything and re-greased the caliper pins. Works like its supposed to now. And thanks for the input y'all.
