Welp. replaced inner and outer tie rods on both sides. i replaced the two outer tie rods about march of last year and i guess the combination of big tires, death wobble from the unbalanced tires, all the miles and the level kit added up and wore them out. the inners were alot easier than i thought they would be. rented the inner tie rod tool form vatozone and of course the piece of crap didn't work so i just used a big pair of channel locks and they came right off
Ha ha ha! That's funny brother! Vatozone! I've never actually been to one of those. They don't have 'em up here. Good to see another member saving money and doing it yourself. I don't really need to replace my tie-rods at the moment but it's good to see how it is done.
she was... then i hit a massive bump on the freeway and now my wheel is back to being 45* off center. really pissing me off how a bump can fugg up an alignment that bad. in better news i got my moar loud parts today Magnaflow Tru-X pipe and two Dynomax bullets 24215's. gonna true dual it. gotta find a decent shop though. all the muffler places in my city do crappy work. i refuse to weld it myself. i did so many exhaust set ups in highschool on mine and other people trucks that i'm sick of welding exhaust
Thats going to sound great. True duals ftw!! When its all set up slap your gopro on that bisch so we can hear it. Sent from my Galaxy S3
