    alright fellas! bed is on.

you can see that the middle bars dont sit on the crush blocks. im thinking about how i can fix that. either shim it or have someone stand inside while weld the bar to the block. didnt really want to weld them again just incase the bed ever has to be taken off.

bed/cab line is right on. this was the part i was most worried about.

i have a good amount of work that needs to be done on the top of the bed. i sprayed with some undercoating for now till i can get to ti. just gotta grind all the welds down, especially where it came through the bed and fill a could small areas.

the bed still has to be adjusted a little better, it sits too far to one side. its so damn hard to get the bed aligned with the cab. i might do that in a little bit, probably not lol. im ready to sit back and relax after i clean the damn garage up.

I feel your pain. Ever since my body lift, the bed and cab have been slightly off. Its only enough to where u can tell if you look for it or I point it out. But just looking at it you wouldnt even notice.

Oh yeah... nice work!!! Came out looking great.

    thanks guys!

my damn spare tire thing is screwed up now lol the star key on the inside of the black tube is like stripped. if it aint one thing its another. i zip tied the cable really tight for now. id rather not cut it until i know for a fact that there is no way to fix it.

also noticed my paint popped on the rear drivers door. looks like thats the next project lol going to touch it up with some paint for now i guess. i dont see any rust behind the paint that chipped off, just bare metal.

For the crush bars just get a chunk of rubber that will fit tight. Drill a hole from the cross bar through the crush one, then bolt the rubber between the two. A right-angle drill should be able to fit.

if i had that tool that would work great lol im going to have to do something, i dont want it just hanging. you can feel the bed give a little when you step on the top at that point.

tried to adjust the bed a little better, didnt work out to well lol. i think my cab might be off slightly. going to have to save that for another day. headed out to eat with my family to get some Mediterranean food for dinner.

Taking your idea will. i think my uncle has one of them drills. i might just use some thick washers to shim it unless i can find a piece of rubber the right thickness. its going to be a pain in the ass drilling through that 1/8" steel tubing though.
