Here to introduce myself, and the Lariat Chariat

Alright, to begin, I joined this site because I have and love my 01 F-150, and I'm looking to get into another full sizd Ford so I figured I could kill two bird with one stone here. We currently have 3(a supercrew from every generation) F-150's and two Superduty's so I'll be all over the place

I've been a member of the F150forum for quite a while, so if you're a dual member you've most likely seen my truck. If not, here she is...
2001 F-150 Supercrew Lariat 4x4
oxford white
5.4 Triton, K&N intake, Poweraid TBS, Flowmaster 40 in the stock location with no cats and the GOTTS o2 sensor mod
Exterior mods-
chrome SVT Lightning grille
tinted front windows to match the back, with a 5% brow
blacked out Lightning tail lights
FIRST EVER(that I know of) set of blacked out Lightning headlights Retrofitted with Morimoto MH1 projectors and 5000k bulbs
TSC tool box
license plate, cargo, and 3rd brake light swapped to LED
17x9 Ultrawheel Badlands

Interior mods-
every light in the cab minus the cluster and HVAC is not LED
Sony Xplod head unit
blue leds under the seats and dash
blue LED's in the cupholder to make my water glow
also have more LED strips ordered for some new things

Of course I can't tell all of y'all about this and not post pics!!!!!

Welcome man clean truck, gotta love another 01 screw! An unfortunately there are some other guys with retrofitted lightning lights. I know one guy has them on his 01 pre runner. Post some pics of your truck

Oh i know, I just mean with this particular Projector in this generation of truck lol wasnt trying to steal anybody's credit at all. The MH1 required no cutting of the housing. It was a tight fit and time consuming job, but they work great and are an easier option for somebody that's hesitant to chop up a set of headlights, and they aim themselves too, when installed correctly.

 

Love the white valance man! I have the torsion bars cranked for now and in the spring I plan to get a set of 33x12 Mickey Thompson ATZ's. Keeping the tires a reasonable size so I'll get decent mileage next year when I'm going back and forth to college, I may go bigger later on however

 

welcome! love the truck! i'll be doing a retrofit to my headlights sometime in the next few months. probably going with a morimoto as well with an apollo shroud still gotta do some research first
