Hey guys, i'm new on here for the reason that my f truck a few weeks ago had snapped the bolt clean in half from the passenger tie rod that connect from the wheel (drivers side) the other other connecting side.

i have since replaced this bottom bolt in that area and didn't think much of it till 2-3 weeks later, it has sheared another bolt but the top tie rod end this time. This sit straight along with the diff and sheared the bolt on top on the passenger side

Both times this completely disabled any steering in my vehicle. I am just looking for any information if this has happened to any other f truck owners or if anyone defiantely knows a cause to this as i am pulling the rest of the front end apart and proceeding to get it xrayed and tested and taking it further

if anyone can help me out, this would be great.

    Thanks heaps

    Darik

To be honest I have no clue what your problem is. But you might find more help on a power stroke forum. Like Powerstrokenation.com or powerstroke.org.

You're going to have to explain what's going on because even shearing a bolt on a tie rod won't make you lose steering. The adjust might budge ruining an alignment but not a catastrophic failure
