So if you're like me an your pitman arm was stuck and the puller would pop it and you dont want to pull the steering box. you can try what I did. Just to note it's important not to beat on it or torque on it with a hammer or pry bars or use heat which can damage bearing an seals in the steering box. What I did was take a cutoff wheel an cut at an angle across the pitman arm, it's important to not go all the way through. The closer you get the easier it'll be to pop it off though. Once you've cut almos all the way through take an air hammer with a chisel bit and go from the bottom of your cut up. Don't go directly at it because this could damage the shaft. ( The pic below with the needle nose pliers shows how you should hold the air hamemr).As the bit works it way into the cut it'll slowly open up the pitman arms an release it's grip an you can pop it off with your hand. Also just a heads up I forgot to say. The easiest way to get to the pitman arm is to pop off the skid plate and it's super easy to do.
