4x4 leaf pack on a 4x2?

    My buddy has a 97 2wd with a broken leaf on one side. Will leafs from a 4x4 fit a 2wd or will he need new shackles? Were looking to get the springs from the junk yard.

    SHould be the same. I know a guy on another forum had L leafs on his 4x4.. and L leafs fit 4x2's

    Sweet. I think there is an old 7lug. F250 there as well that's 2 wd. Might take those instead.

    I was told by Carrier leaf spring that theyre different....he was a d.bag and didnt tell what exactly was different...but I would like to know the difference.

    Look up part numbers to be sure. I dont see why it wouldnt work, same spring or not as long as its all the same length from end to end, and width.
