Prerunner or Steel Bumper

    I am debating where to go with my front bumper...

    I think i am going to fab one myself.

    I would appreciate if anyone knows of a site that sells pre-runner bumpers for our year f150 for i can get an idea.

    I say make a steel bumper. The 1 on my truck is made of 1/2" thick 4" channel and its tough as hell. It saved my ass in a wreck... it f***ed up that damn toyota though. If I was gonna make 1 though Id go with atleast 6" channel, maybe 8" for the middle and 6" for the sides. I got lucky and found the 1 I got for sale for $100 when I went to the weldin shop to get some metal to make mine.

    i like the looks of prerunners. but if you want protection do steel. with a baja hoop!

    dude I really like steel bumpers, but I think your truck is better suited for something pre-runner style

    Steel defiantly ..... prerunner bumpers look terrible , leaves the sides all open and looks like junk , like youve been in a wreck and got a jigrig bumper......
