maybe if I finish my homework ill see if I can pro-e that bumper up. will just need some measurements off my truck.
No 04+ saw pretty much my exact truck but black the other day with a simple bumper like yz had on his last truck. I want.
Soo with taxes, and a nice quarterly coming from work this quarter, and what i've been able to set aside since i paid the rab off, i'm planning a lift this spring. I've shopped around already, have a few ideas, and really good price quotes on wheel and tire combos. I'm looking at a 5" Rough Country to start with, and 35's. Now, here's the hard part. 1) I found they make 18x12 Fuel Hostages, everyone has Hostages though. And I am still concerned i will have fitment issues with the width, as I do not want to go over the 5" of lift. I'm short, and anything more is not practical for me. 2) Fuel Maverick's, Chrome face, black lip in a 20x10 -24mm. These, are much more pricey, Almost $150 more a wheel pricey. I can also get these in a 20x12 if i still want the super wide stance. I've mentioned the clearance concern with the width, So maybe 12 wides are not for me? I know they wear more on the hubs and other parts. Plus trying to keep a 15 year old truck looking good, they are going to kick some stuff up on the sides for sure. So if i happen to go with the more pricey Mavericks, I may do a body lift. To me, both look pretty similar especially since I have steps, that wont be coming off. Plus the Mavericks keep me away from blacking the truck out the rest of the way. I am starting to feel the blacking out is childish, I see it everywhere. I may be over thinking this, but with this all costing the money its going too, I want to do it right, and not think about changing again in a year or two.
20x12... . I think the 20x10 would work better, I hate seeing the tires narrower than the rim... Why no 20x9.5 or 8" ?
I like the wider look. I would keep what I have now if i stayed 9" wide, or in that area. Also forgot to add, if i end up doing a body lift, the frame will probably be painted silver.
