Just got the new one on and put back together . Haven't got to test drive because I have to go to dinner with the gfs family but for the half mile to her house it seemed to have wayy more balls. Fixed the codes. Had loose electrical connections on my coils and the pcv tube comes with a gasket on the Dorman intakes so that's why my idle was off. Shes running great now!! Sent from my Galaxy S3
Spoke too soon. My p0171 code came back on It hasn't come on since the new manifold and after I get all the other coil issues and codes resolved and cleared, BAM same codes as before. I'm going to double check all my vac lines and pcv hose hopefully I just forgot to connect one of them... fingers crossed that its not my manifold or worse, my head.. Sent from my Galaxy S3
**** hopefully you forgot something man. is the truck running rough? could try the propane trick I learned in class. get some propane and let it spray under the hood around hoses and the heads (don't light the propane lol) the engine should run better if the propane gets sucked into the engine at a broken hose. just a thought, might help you out. the propane wont hurt the engine one bit.
