working on building up a console for my truck, it will sit between the bench and the dash, heres a computer sketch of my idea, the top black square is the cb, the other will be my power inverter, the lid will have a piano hinge and a cabinet lock, also a cubby hole for my phone and what not, and cup holders will be mounted on each side along with my mag lite mounts, it will be wrapped in gray vinyl and will have diamond plate trim, maybe i will add a plexiglass ford oval on the side and light it up blue, should be going to get supplies in the morning to get a start on it
im gonna wire up some sort of fuse block, right now im just gonna wire my cb to the battery and leave my power inverter hooked to the battery, when i start adding interior lights then im gonna add the block i'm also gonna add a mount for my hand held gps to the console
Look for one in the electrical section at auto zone. They have them for like 10 bux. I added one to my bike for the hids, cig lighter, xm radio, leds, e fans and still have 1 open space.
Bussman Part No. 15600-06-20 This one will hold 3 fuses for 3 power slots. They also have one for 6 fuses.
