lol that's a good thing man. wish I had some more $$$ coming in so I could get closer to buying that RCX. im still like $800 short lol. getting paid cash Friday, ill add that to the $250 I made from my programmer. getting there! slowly but surely.
My parking today. It was sitting higher on the snow when I park but sunk in pretty good. Was worried I was gonna get stuck cause the snow was up to the frame and the front wheels dropped in to hard icy snow haha
Next month or two. It'll be parked beside the garage this saturday. The red trucks coming out to play for the summer. No need to do em up black
so I need some help. I bought a 250A alt from DB electric for my truck. when it came it had a spec sheet with a max output of 167A and when the pulley spun the internals rubbed. So I call them and ask about these issues, their reply: Sometimes when a warehouse needs a 250 they take a smaller case and put different internals to bump it to 250. Ok fine, but why does it rub? sometimes with the very tight clearance it could have been bonked around, but when installed it should even out and be fine. I took it to an alternator place to get tested, it was bad. the rubbing: didnt allow current to flow, they couldnt even spool it up enough to get readings. so I get them to send me a new one. Its nothing like the first one I got, heres the differences, the new new one is on the left, first one on the right: except in this, the new is on top. different pulley ends, same size though different front cases: this one the new new alt is on the right, the bolt holes are grinded flush, the other they are raised up slightly heres the BIG difference: new new on the right. power bolt has a cover, misc mount hole on the top, another pic so can anyone tell me if my new new one is the right one?
I don't see why it won't work. The new one is probably a universal to fit more vehicles. The casings are all casted so the tolerances for them are large to begin with.
