so out of my random pile of pipe next to the garage all i got is 2-1/4" pipe (good for 5,625 hp ) so that's too big it would look goofy

 

Steel supply, has some 1.5" .120 DOM for under a hundred bucks

 

i might see if they got any pipe laying around at work i can use. get some heim joints from... where ever. 4 wheel parts sells them. and i can probably fab up some mounts

 

I think you could get some Heims from fastenal here. But if I were you I'd just use bushings an a sleeve.

 

yeah that too. probably be alot cheaper. heims are like 40 bucks from 4wp

 

man, i need to do some trac bars BAD. my axle wrap is ridiculous. I almost went squirrely this morning while i was going straight down the freeway and just hit the peddle. me no likey.

so, here's the order we should do:

trac bars
projectors
bumpers

I might be able to get us a deal on some Heim joints since we would be gettin several.

 

^whats your hook up for heims? Ill need 2 for my inner tierods.

 

Hahaha sounds good! I might leave the front how it is and just build a rear bumper once I find a design I like

 

Personally I don't like Heims for traction bars because they allow the bar to rotate a small amount. Just build some with a threaded bushing an sleeve an it'll be cheaper. No difference in performance.

 

Bumper for a purpose or just mainly astetics?
