I am wanting used parts because someone has already done the hard work for me, all Ill have to do is bolt em on, maybe paint them. sheet metal however I know how to work pretty well, just havnt done anything automotive related with it.

Glass continues to change shapes over time, so just cause someone fit them to their truck don't mean they'd fit yours perfect

Yea I could modify some. There's basically two ways you can do it, split the top an weld in a tear drop basically and thatll widen the fender or make a new welded an molded in flair

The difference bein is with the first you gain your width at the top of the fender, with the second on you gain your width on the flare

Ah, had to read it again to fully comprehend it. Id prefer to do it in the flare, on the top makes it too wide and then drops off, like this

And i dont like how it suddenly comes out right after the light, I want it to gradually come out.. Like the stock ones

well you can still gain width at the top but add to the curvature of the fender at the top so it doesnt actually go higher, just wider, reradius the wheel wells anyways.

and if you were to widen it towards the top you could keep the stock flare which would mean the truck would still look stockish from the sides.

I didnt think of that, I would like to keep the stock flare piece, that doesnt come on all of the trucks (like my girlfriends). but my rear ones wont since ill be getting rears too, Ive got a guy saving me a set.
