one more update for the night, its gettin cold out side, need to figure out how exactly to mount my hinge, also some design changes,

instead of mounting the power inverter on top, its gonna get mounted on the side, and for the cubby hole on top, instead of wood, i think i'm gonna make it out of fake leather and staple it to the bottom, and the CB needs to be lower so the ash tray will clear it

it by far not a professional job, but i'm happy so far, and when it gets covered, you'll never see the flaws, thanks for interest guys, i should be able to finish it tomorrow minus covering it

man, that looks real good. have you thought about what to do to prevent it from moving about the cab? I mean, it looks like a real good fit, but I wasnt sure if it had wiggle room, or if it was heavy enough to combat that. Very nice progress thus far!

:hmm: I might give this a shot in my truck and cover it in some nice material since I dont have the center shift console.....then make it easy to remove if needed :hmm:

i think it should stay in place pretty well, if not, i'll add an "L" bracket to the bottom and bolt it to the floor with self tappers
