I didn't realize so much of that bottom lightbar was gonna show so yeah, that one is going to have to be powdercoated red too. Not much of an update but it's an update nonetheless, all about the little details. I'm gonna have him design some factory looking/custom 4x4 decals for the bedsides where the factory ones go.
Door two done, gonna put them in and wire them tomorrow. I'm gonna have to find a place far away to tune the doors I expect them to get loud lol. Trim piece update
Where did you get the overlays? I was wanting some black ones, but can't find any. Also thought I'd throw this out there, I'll trade you my truck for your truck even. jk
I got them from Blake Langford, he goes by moodyblue on the forums not sure if he's on this one. He can pretty much do any color combination your heart desires, even does custom 4x4 decals and vinyl work. Appreciate it bud, that last push before Scrapin The Coast. So much to do in less than a month.
Haven't updated too much lately been busy helping everybody else work on their stuff. I just found out within the past two days that I have not 1 but 2 photoshoots at Scrapin the Coast! so things I was going to leave undone for a later date suddenly need to be finished....... I'll be temporarily wrapping the pods on the doors with a short hair fur to hide the imperfections. It matches pretty well with the interior. Putting in the trim piece on the console tomorrow at some point before work. Bed rails were super faded, painted them to match real quick..... That is awesome. What a great project. I wish I had more time on my hands to work on stuff. Also that takes a lot of talent. I've done fibreglass work before and I'm very familiar with it but I know nothing about car audio.
