I went to Pepboys today and picked up a few things. I got a Pilot Stubby antenna for $12.
I think it looks a hell of a lot better than the original antenna.

So i seem to be having a problem with my truck.

When downshifting from OD at about 60-65 mph the truck has kind of a shutter/vibration/grinding sound for just a second.

I can feel it in the whole truck so i cant tell where it is coming from.

If anyone has any ideas please share.

I thought maybe it could be the u joints but i havent had much time to check. I think the tires are out of balance cuz i have a pretty good shake when im cruisin around 55 mph.

Alright well i had a few mechanics look at my truck recently and they all said it was my torque converter chattering a little bit. One mechanic told me to put an additive in the tranny to try to help it a little bit, so i got a bottle of Dr. Tranny Instant Shudder fix. So far it hasnt done it yet and im hopng that it will all work out.

Anyway I did a little shopping the other day and these showed up at my house today.

I had a cracked taillight lens so I got a new taillight for $45.
And I seemed to like the sound of the Dynomax bullet on the videos i have seen so I pulled the trigger on one, I plan on getting it in the truck in the next week or so, hopefully it wont be too ungodly loud and I hope I will like it.

Ok so my truck has been shaking at 45 mph and at 55 mph, i thought it was the tires out of balance, so i had the tires balanced and its still shaking.

I think its coming from the rear of the truck but i cant tell.

Anybody got anything that i could check out.

Must be the U joint. Replace it now. From my experience it takes about a week and a half of driving from the barely vibrates stage to oh sh*t my u joint either blew up or has a giant crack in it.

I checked the u-jonts and they seemed fine. I might just replace them anyway.

But it doest seem like a u-joint related problem because it isnt vibrating and it isnt squeaking. The truck kinda wobbles back and forth.
