Ok, Here's build thread for 67 F100. Gonna pay a mobile welder to repair the rotted holes on frame where the core support and front cab mounts go. Then paint its on to painting the frame with the purple power deruster, gray primer, and black paint.

I already checked the cab support mounts and they dont look to rotting out the holes yet.

    Here's pics

Cant say for sure, but I would have to guess there is some form of rotting going on. If you have it down to that point, you may aswell go all the way, since you're committed. Do it right first, and there wont be a second.

You should get a welder and learn on your truck build. Maybe not the frame points since there critical to the whole truck, but it would be a fun way to learn on smaller stuff.

I got a Lincoln/Century GL80 wire feed for going the sheet metal on the cab and bed floor. Last time I welded was in HS and just did arc welding.

Thinking about using rustoleum after using the purple power deruster.

Welder quoted me $120 to repair the 4 holes at my house.

Picked up this radiator support for $75 out of a 75 truck. Not a direct fit will fit with tweaking.
