    Horray for customer service and lifetime warranty :peace: emailed Daystar and sent pictures of the broken stud. they replied instantly and overnighted me a new stud kit, got the box this morning, they also gave me a $20 check for my troubles :banana-mario: Going to try again one of these days. instructions say to grind down the studs 1/8" i honestly didn't think it would matter. that may be why the stud snapped. i'm guessing the factory stud was pressing against it... idk oh well. new studs and $20 :peace:

    good job! yeah probably why it snapped...you didnt grind it down...if you did it probably wouldnt have snapped..

    Yes.... I realize that now. Lol luckily they didn't even question why it snapped.
