yall are making me feel stupid. am I retarded or something? lol

    I was looking at a 17" rim with a width of 12.50"

meaning I would have to get a set of tires measuring 35x12.50x17 no?

for 12.5" wide tire its best to fit a rim thats 8-10" wide. I know guys running a 12.5" wheel on a 7" wide wheel and my 35s are on a 7.5" wide wheel

IMO 17x9 wheels look great with a 12.5" wide tire.

you will see the specs on that tire and what they recommend for the rim width.

first one is for a 35x12.5x17
second one is for a 40x14.5x17
third is for kicks n giggles 30x8x17

but really you can run just about any truck tire on a 9" wide wheel

nah I got it for the most part. im still trying to decide what tires I want.

I have no complaints about my BFGs other than the price but I thought I might give another tire a shot.

im looking at the cooper SSTs right now.

I just didn't know you could squeeze a tire with a 12.5" width on a smaller width rim.

when I decide what I want ill post up my decision and let yall pick it apart! :jester:
