So since I put a new Pioneer deck in my truck I figured I might as well put in new speakers since the factory speakers rattled like a SOB.

Got these Pioneer 2 way speakers for a hell of deal and they sound incredible.

So how did the install go? And how do you know when your torque converting is starting to crap out? I'm guessing that'd be an expensive fix unless you do it yourself, but you'd have to be able to remove the transfer case and tranny I think.

Installing the speakers was easy, especially with the speaker adapters I bought.

As far as the torque converter, Im not entirely sure that it is the problem, Ive been doing some reading and I found that it may just be a misfire. I might order new Accel C.O.P's and replace the factory ones and I figure since Im doing that I might just attempt the spark plugs as well.

Anyone have any input on E3 Spark plugs? I have read that they are pretty good and they are a one piece plug so if I would encounter another misfire I wouldnt have much of a problem swapping that plug.

So I had a night off the other day and decided to attempt PTMing my mirrors. I like the look of color matched stuff. I also painted my air vent trim rings white because the fake chrome looks bad.

Also thought I'd snap a pic of the new Access Tonneau Cover I got.

I did a length write up on spark plugs on the previous F-150 forum I used to frequent. I highly recommend sticking to Motorcraft plugs, specifically the SP515s. People have had problems with spark plugs from all manufacturers from Champion to E3 but Motorcraft seems to have the least amount of issues. It seems that our trucks are very finicky when it comes to spark plugs.

I have been having a misfire myself and I ordered new Motorcraft coils from RockAuto. My local dealer wanted $110 each plus tax. I've seen them on the Internet for as low as $15 each for Hong Kong made crap to $80 each for a genuine Ford part. RockAuto was the way to go for me. I have seen some other members on another forum that run Accels that haven't had any issues with them so far.

What is the difference between the motorcraft sp507 and the sp515 plug?
