have you had any battery problems latly... or have you unhooked the battery recently... my truck does that when its in the relearn process... if you havent had any battery probs or had it unhooked......Be sure to fill your truck up and run a full tank of gas .. some relearn will take up to 150 miles

Might try the sea foam thing ... and change fuel filter...ive seen some police cars do this around 10k miles... from townships getting trashy gas..

    Hope that helps

id say fuel filter as well...one fill up of dirty gas could cause this....probably factory scheduled maint by 23k anyway...

so i think i might have found out what the reason for it dying. i took it today to get my oil changed and told them what was happening. i also told them that when it's cold, 2nd gear would stretch to around 3500rpm's even with my foot not realy into the peddle. they finished and told me there they did an update for the computer from ford. it changed something in the transmission and some other things. ive already noticed better shifting. hopefully the truck wont die anymore. lol
