UPS dropped it off today. pretty nice kit. comes with everything you need to install it, including plenty of hose with clamps and fittings. going to try and install it this weekend.

may even do a small write up for the hell of it if I can remember to take enough pictures lol.

Are you replacing the stock cooler or just adding this into the tranny lines as extra?

    Awesome man.

I don't have the link, but a guy on one of the lightning forums put a SD tranny cooler in and it bolts right up behind the grill. Its prob 3x the size of the stock one but looks clean as hell when installed correctly and prob works wonders.

haha I bet. this cooler is a great size man.

do all F150s come with a tranny cooler? I know my lines run through the radiator and then from there the fluid goes to the cooler and then to the transmission. I don't know if that's a 250LD/7700 deal or stock for all 10 gens. same with the power steering cooler, you have one too? or maybe it was just that they had bigger coolers.

I remember hearing something about the 250LD/7700s having an extra cooler.

I hear when Ford service depts. replaces a trans they put one of these
inline filter types on, must serve an extra purpose.

I see the magnefine filters for cheap, but I haven't
found any info yet on the Motorcraft inline trans filters
having a magnet in them, anyone know?
