From what I've researched, the SP515 is a double platinum version of the SP507. It is basically the upgraded plug that is meant to eventually replace the SP507. Remember that later model 5.4 3V Triton motors around 2007-2008+ didn't have the spark plug breaking issue and may require different plugs from the 2004-2006 model years.
I was out scouting some state land for a place to go hunting this fall and there is a lot of sand to go get stuck in, i didnt venture to far because i was by myself today but there was a big turnaround at the end of the trail that was perfect for sliding around in. anyway i took the opportunity to get a new picture of my truck. still trying to figure out my next mod. Let me know of any ideas you got. Im thinking wheels and tires... Uploaded with ImageShack.com
Brother, your truck is looking way too nice to bringing it off the pavement! Yeah, I'd go with 20 inch wheels and nice, beefy tires if you're taking it off the beaten path. Maybe fender flares too if you go with a wider wheel/tire combination. Everything else looks really clean. Maybe a headache rack or something to protect your rear glass and attach your gear to when you go hunting. Truck is looking really clean brother. Good job.
Found these wheels for sale about an hour south of where i live. Guy says he would take $550. What could be done to fix pitting chrome?? 18" F150 Wheels / Tires - $650
I thought about that but theyre pitting pretty bad, would plasti dip fill the spots that have no plating?
Alright I havent been on in a while because ive been really busy with work, but today i decided to reprogam my Edge and switch back to stock. Holy smokes what a difference!!! Its like driving a completely different truck. I switched it back to stock because im taking it in to the shop tomorrow to get fluids changed and Edge recommends that you switch back to stock in case they hook up anything electrical to your vehicle. Anybody else ever switch to stock and then feel kinda depressed that your truck feels a little gutless??
I'm thinking a gaser is similar. Switching to stock on my Powerstroke is like tying a battleship to the rear bumper.
