So my. Stepdad bought this truck brand new in 1994, it was his first new vehicle he bought. It's just a basic 95, f150 2wd with a 302. I got the truck passed down with 150xxx and it now has 165023. My stepdad used this as a work truck and pushed it hard. I remember moving logs after cutting a tree down or taking a load of dirt or gravel that was so heavy in the bed that the springs were bottomed out and the tires almost touching the wheel wells. It was used a lot for that. With a 8ft bed you can do a lot! It's been through a lot of wrecks too. Once a car rolled down a hill and hit the bed. A year later it was rear ended and hit on the same side. Lots of good maintance on the engine. Oil changed every 3k. It's a good truck for me. Gets a good ole 12 mpg on a good day and burns a qt every 1000 miles. Not to bad for this old truck.
So I got the truck and this picture discribes how it was. There was rust on front fender, and bed wheel arches

The first thing I did was take the bumpers off and paint them

Just wanted to get the rust off.
Then for a birthday and Christmas present from my family I got some procomp rims. At 62 bucks a piece they look good. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1378696880.057022.jpg

Well as a teen you like spinning tires so every time it would rain I would go to a parking lot and do burnouts and slides so the bfg's didn't last long.

So I got some new tires. Before i put the new tires on i had to level ot a little so i put some MOOG 844 front springs on.

My uncle helped me put on my exhaust for my birthday- a flow monster super 10- same as a flomaster super 10 but different name and cheaper. I cut the second cat off and dumped the exhaust under the bed.
I also installed some new speakers

I got a 10" sub behind the seat that shakes nice.
I've ran this truck at the track and its rain a 17.1 at 79 mph as its fastest 1/4th time.

Most recently I fixed all the rust!

Still have to wet sand and polish.
But it has turned out nice.
Now I'm open for new things to do. I have a long list of what I want to do but I doubt most will happen. Help me think of something new.

Thanks. This truck is a good learning point- it's fairly cheap for parts, easy to work on and it good for hauling things around.
