    Yea at the top end haha, that's what I'm saying. The h.o has smaller runners an will make more power than the truck intake mid to low rpm but at high rpm the truck intake is better. That's why people used them on the drag cars.

    Personally I'd go aftermarket for intake but if you're on a budget snag an explorer intake when you get the heads

    Hah it sure is a dd but getting on the highway or under a bridge you better know it that it's floored :) see 4g in a 302 and you're at 300, I'm wondering why not put that money into a 351 or 460

    Currently I'm on a stock tune and fuel system.. Needs to be upgraded but it could survive as it sits.. Currently 4500 miles on it..

    Sorry it's so long. 450-525 is what I'm looking at, how true does this sound?

    Those numbers are at crank. So if you hit 450 your looking around 400 at wheels..

    But gaining ALOT of weight on nose of truck,

    Will be a torque monster, will break stock transmissions and rear ends..

    Oops I forgot. Yeah I gotta see how much more a 460 weighs than a 302. I don't know why I want a 460 so bad.
