They make a aluminum protectant for pontoon
boat logs. Don't see why it can't be used on wheels.
One I've heard of is called Sharkhide.

grrrr now I gotta look for something else. I don't want to take a risk and buy rims that are going to turn to rust from the damn salt.

that sharkhide stuff is pretty sweet. kind pricey but it might be worth it. im having a really tough time trying to find a good rims.

 

just get the rims and plasti dip them in the winter. it works great. i did that with mine and had no problems with corrosion.

 

that's a thought too. I still gotta run the prices up to discount tire to see if they can match tire rack. they told me they will match any online price.

the question is whether or not they can order the rims.

 

alright yall got me scared with that choice of rims.

I don't think they look that bad. I was ttrying to go with something that didn't have any black on it but these don't have much.
