    the only thing wrong with the new dmax is the exsaust fluid system or a fuel filter adapter leaking i dont mess with a lot of dmax guess im going to learn real quick. now the 5.3 that's a different story

    What a stupid ass. Running farm fuel on a $50,000 truck? Using non-factory filters on a newer diesel truck? This must be some farmer with no money than brains, which is weird considering how the agricultural economy is doing.

    Yeah, emissions is really killing diesels with this DPF crap, DEF crap and SCR crap. Crap, crap and more crap. What people don't realize is that the automotive industry results in less than 10% of the air pollution. A single coal burning electric power plant produces more pollution in a year than what 100,000 cars will do in a lifetime.

    The only difference in farm diesel and regular diesel is it isnt taxed so they put a little dye in it so they can tell if truckers are using it

    Depending on what province you're in, not only do they not tax it but it isn't regulated. You can add whatever additives you want to it. A lot of people have been making biodiesel out of different base stocks and selling it as farm diesel.

    Anyhow, considering the cost and complications of a modern diesel engine I would stick to something at a certified retailer.
