Help everyone, I seem to be having an issue with my transmission. From a stop everything goes fine, but once I hit about 70 mph in od I cannot remain there on the smallest incline. It will shift between 3rd and od until I reach level road again. I like to run shoot 68-70 that puts me right around 2k rpm. This is running empty no load what so ever. Any input ifs welcome. Thank you

Sounds like it's not a tranny issue but a power problem. How many miles is on your truck and what model/motor?

    That's what I'm thinking. If it's a 4.6 it's pretty common haha :3

Reading about other people with a similar problems:

    Wires at transmission were damaged.
VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) flaky defective (at rear diff)
may not be sending a steady speed signal in turn telling
the transmission it needs to shift from OD to third and back and forth.
