Put new brakes on the ole lady. Also, I guess the mount on the exhaust headers to hook on to when swapping a motor, don't know what it's called but long story short, a bolt broke off in the head an the mount was flopping around. No exhaust leaks so it will be alright.

Maybe its just me, but I really don't see that big of a difference. I think part of it is how the shadows fall on the truck too. Looks great imo. :peace:

So it's been a while. 170k now. Haven't done much to the truck but this spring I have some stuff in mind- new shocks front and rear, sway bars front and rear, new steering components- ball joints tie rods etc, I have a transgo shift kit new filter and I'm going to drain and change fluid, then it's just working out some bugs. I have an airbag code 53 so I need to fix the ground on the airbag sensor I guess. Anyone know more on error code 53? And the transgo shift kit install

Hey guys I'm in some need of information here. I installed the transgo shift kit on my 4r70w today and it shifts perfect 1,2,3 but when trying to shift into 4, it goes to neutral. I've read about the od band breaking and also the servo and solenoid going bad. It just started today. Is the solenoid a round black piece with a tip with a o ring that goes up into the valve body? And of it is, could this be a result of putting the bracket under that instead of on top when mounting it? It drives perfect and the mercon v and the shift kit fixed the noises and problems I was having but getting rid of those problems is now leaving me driving with od off and wondering what

I have concluded that I did not re engage the od bans when I installed the servo. Sound about right

Fixed- servo band is now engaged and the trans is working perfect. Gotta love transmission fluid all on your face and in your hair 2 days in a row.
