    There is no reason to replace coils until they go bad, coils can las several hundred thousand miles

    I heard the same thing as well, I didn't want to take the chance and half ass it by only buying boots. Either way, hope it all works out well for you.

    I'm so glad that Ford fixed this problem with the plugs in their Triton engines. Although, I'll be changing out 16 plugs when I do my tune up ($$$). How do you know when you have a mis-fire?

    You'll feel it, either like a stumbling feeling or almost like you're running over a giant rumble strip, it'll shake the truck some and it'll have a loss of some power. But there are tons of reasons for misfires

    Ok, but what threw me was Tradesman's comment about having a "misfire on #5 and #3". I just thought that was pretty specific.
