Oh yes. My whole upper body is sore from putting my whole weight into loosening the plugs. So hard to crank on, had to use a cheater bar for some just to break them loose

I'm wondering about the impact gun method.... Do you think it would have worked to crack them loose?

 

I've heard the impact works like a charm. I have a 60 gallon stand up compressor in the garage but no 240v plug in so I pretty much had to do it by hand.

 

If the clothes dryer is in the garage and
electric there's you 240 volt plug.

 

I'd still in a 240v extension. It's in the utility room. A good 30 ft. Away

 

I just picked up a 120v 175psi 20 gallon craftsman compressor. Got It for 200 from a friend and then went out and bought this ingersoll rand impact gun.

 

See that woulda been perfect but I didn't wana blow too much money on this project. Even though I saved well over a grand doing it myself. And people are still hating because I didn't get them all out clean lol f**k those guys

 

I got me one of these, even though its only 125 ft-lbs, still pretty good for a cordless impact:

got that and a 20V drill for ~200 at lowes on sale

when I put my 7.5" on I went to Northen and got their corded impact, it beats air tools hands down, all you need is an extension cord. and its like 250 ft-lbs

 

I have an 18volt dewalt cordless 1/2" impact wrench and its rated at 300 ft lbs but even still there is no replacement for a nice air impact and the right compressor setup
