Oil on spark plug??

Did a plug change today and 4/8 plugs had oil on the threads but not the tip. Two were soaked. Is that a valve cover leak?

Could be leaking.
Was it wet from oil on the top of the head?

I've seen oil weeping onto the top of the head
from the valve cover gaskets on my
mother-in-law's 4.6 Crown Vic.

 

Yup if it's oil from the top it's most likely a valve cover gasket or a cracked valve cover

 

Not gona cause a big problem right. Too cold to pull heads off do ill wait a little

Depending where it gets it could cause a misfire. You dont need to pull the heads just valve cover to replace the valve cover gasket
