Last few days, I have a puddle of what looks to be oil under the black truck. More so on the passenger side. Looked underneath today after work; Looks to be dripping down the back of the motor where the trans meets up to it. All over it and everywhere else down. All the way down the passenger side onto the cats, and along the cross member underneath. Couldnt tell anything on the top side. I was down a quart of oil, not sure when it started exactly, so I have to watch and see how much/how fast im losing. Any ideas? I'm going to take a better look when I have my day off Friday.
Pull the plug from the bottom of the bell housing to check if it might be the rear main. I have a leak in a similar spot though, and it's my head gasket. Could be your valve cover too though. Sent from my SCH-R760 using Tapatalk 2
duh. I knew that one of those "uhhhh Im dumb" moments. so whats the fix to that? have to remove engine, all internals and put in a new seal? isnt the torque converter full of oil? couldnt that have a leak and be slinging it all around?
Most the time just pull the trans and flex plate and you should be able change it And the torque converter is full of ATF so if its dark like oil it wouldn't be the converter Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk
