Pretty sure its some sort of clamp thing that came on the newer ones to prevent it from shaking as much or rattling or something. Saw it on youtube awhile back lol
You press it down into the snaps of the sticky mount to prevent them from getting pressed in accidentally The part that slides into the sticky mount The circle part goes onto the thumbscrew I can get a picture if you need it
Damn I cant believe I didn't know that lmao.. Got it... Kinda strange lol.. I couldn't figure out what the hell it was suppose to be.. The camera takes awesome videos.. But the sound sucks!! Shouldn't be, the sound would be distorted in the case but should still have sound Yours should be better then mine, this is in the case with a waterproof back door (dot watch it to long its boring and makes you sick) Helmet Cam - YouTube

I need to get some superglue for the nuts on the back of mine. Also need to make some more bolts, I lost a longer one... And I want metal bar/roll bar mounts, mine tend to bend quite a bit...when I put them on the roll cage of friends' jeeps they wheel too hard and it moves the camera around. lame.
