The magnet was only $4 and has a 25 pound pull weight.. It seems to stick to the car really good.. Haven't really put it to the test with the car moving yet.. I don't think it will go anywhere but I wanna set up a tether first just to be safe..

They have a magnet with a 95 pound pull weight for $9 but its about twice the diameter so it wont fit as many places... I'm thinking about getting it to put on top of the car and I can use it to tether off of

Tripod mount would probably be a good investment for you
Lets you make mounts out of anything you can put a 1/4-20 bolt through
Lots of DIY mount you can make using them

Also make sure you let the sticky mounts set up for 24 hours
    Learned that the hard way

Yeah im gonna order the tripod mount... Way to use full not to have..

And letting the adhesive sit for a day is another reason I didn't test it yesterday.. If I can rig up a tether I'll try it out today

I stuck mine on then used zip ties to hold it to the surface tight. looked odd but worked out.

Katie got my a GoPro Hero3 White for an early Christmas Present. I'm already planning on a double battery from Wasabi, skeleton case for charging in the car, tripod mount, and chesty mount. Anything else I'm missing out on?

Yes, really recommend an external mic set up. The mic on the go pro is decent but a mic picks up all of the sounds. Just need the go pro 3.5mm to mini USB adapter, and you'll need to Dremel a slot in your case for it to plug in

Where does it plug into? I've just got the USB and HDMI plugs on the side.
