may be a dumb question but how exactly do you do the stripes? paint the whole thing white then tape off for stripes? how do you know how wide and far apart to make them? lol is there factory dimensions you go off of?

Different ways to do them, if the stripes are a lighter color then the base coat you usually paint the area, mask off your stripes an spray the base coat an then remove masking an clear. I'll be spraying the whole white base then masking and then spraying blue and clearing.
As far as the stripes I have Shelby's original specs. Actually the lines aren't exactly uniform, reason being is perfectly same width stripes when you look at them your eyes will make it look like they get smaller as they go father. So actually in the middle of the car they actually a different width then at the front or rear. But to your eye they look straight

Wish my cousin would finish his gt 350 clone, he started the car over 10 years ago, maybe even 15 when his Dad still owned a ford dealership
Its been sitting waiting for an engine ever since

so was waiting on the quarter vent delete panels, installed them and followed by 3 coats of ppg primer over the whole body. will block that out and spray some color later tonight if I can get some things from my ppg jobber. Work is starting to pay off and body looks straight as an arrow
