i have a custom tuned gryphon from php for my 5speed and it doesnt do as much as it would if i had an auto but mainly it accounts for my tire size, gear change, and octane change along with some other things it was tuned for.

it shouldnt be a first mod because you can save for the gear swap instead first

no because the 97-98 is done by a gear in the transmission which i already changed out

that's what i thought but i wasn't sure because ik the speed sensor in the transmission is electronically sent to the cluster
where did you change out the gear and where did you get it from?

heres the site. i got the 21 tooth since i have 4.56 and its only 5 over at 70+

its hard to explain but when looking at the trans from the driver side there is a part with cable coming out and held in with one 7-10mm bolt. just unbolt it and pull it out and there will be a gear there held on by a c clip
