When I got my tranny rebuilt he put a shift kit in and the shifts were VERY firm. It basically made your head jerk a little bit through the gears. Now that ive had it in for a while the shifts aren't near as firm as that and it shifts very smooth at WOT compared to pussyfooting it lol

You might just give it some time to break in and see if it gets better.

Yeah this one will jerk your neck pretty good lol..

Bought a LS carrier... It's 28 spline and I just found out the bronco is 31 spline.... So basically I just wasted money for nothing

Well........,. The guy I got the LS carrier from has a 31 spline carrier... But it's a open carrier that's been welded lol... Worst case scenario it might go in there but I'd really like to just get this LS in

Really your don't have LS?? Well its a super easy swap.. Just find you a 31 spline LS carrier from a f150 explorer or bronco.. When you pull it keep up with the bearing rings (I don't know what to actually call them but I'm talking about the beveled ring that goes over the bearings on the carrier) right ring and left ring need to go back where they came.. When you pull your carrier just keep up with where the shims are the shim on the right has to go back on the right and the one on the left has to go back on the left..

Now put your old ring gear on the new carrier even if it's the same gear ratio use your old one..

When you put it in use the bearing rings that came with the LS carrier but use the shims that came out of your truck and boom no more open diff..

Did you check the backlash or pattern with the new carrier? You might get lucky with the pop and swap but due to tolerances in the carriers, you might end up with poor gear mesh and have axle problems in short order.
