    Yes you can. Youre gonna need to change the oil first.

    You said you dont have a lot of money to work with so try a few of these things out and whether they work or not let us know and we can tell anywhere to go next. Usually you can buy cheap oil/filter kits at any parts store for like 21 bucks.

    shoot sometimes you can score deals at advance auto parts when it comes to oil. I got 4 quarts of full syn oil with a filter for $20 for my girlfriend jeep. never been a fan of autozone but they will sell what you need!

    AutoZone is close to my house soon go there quite a bit but if need actual brakes, sensors, etc I go to O'Reilly because my buddy works there and I use his discount.

    1/3 can in crankcase, 1/3 can in vac line and 1/3 can in a full tank of gas.

    never turn a discount down!

    If the funds are that limited then go with the oil & filter first. I can't imagine what 6 year old oil looks like. No I can, it's terrible. I've drained the crankcases on a couple of VW's that had sat for like 3-4 years years tops and it was a mess of sludge and crap.

    That MAF cleaner is kinda pricey so I'd wait till you had the oil and fuel filter changed to do it. Do it though, cause it makes a world of difference.
