First 2015 Ford Mustang Sold for $300k

    Anyone get a chance to make it to the Scottsdale Barrett-Jackson auction this past weekend? Or see that the first retail example of the 2015 Mustang GT sold for $300K? The great part about the sale, the money went to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Charity. Always good to see. Here is a pic of the Mustang they had on display:

    Looking forward to seeing these Mustangs (along with all the other 2015 cars) on the road soon!! :rockit: :happy107:

    It was pretty cool to see it go that high. I honestly didn't think it would.

    Watched them auction it live on NatGeo / Fox Sports.

    Awesome that Ford Motor Company gave away that car for the JDRF.

    i cant believe that much of the grille is blocked off to allow for less airflow!

    it looks dumb! lol

    Didn't even think about the grill space. Not going to be good for Ford if they have to recall the 2015's because of that!

    Yeah I didn't even notice the grille. Good catch. :cheers: It is a pretty stupid idea to block the grille off like that.

    That was my thought. With the numbers it makes you would think theres a reason behind it.
