Arent coils one of the first things to check when looking for a misfire? Why are we just now swapping them? Lol

I would go ahead and swap all 8. Its not like itll hurt anything. Unless you really, REALLY, want to know which cylinder was misfiring.

I started doing one at a time. So far I've replaced 1,2,3,5,6, and 7... #8 was replaced last May... So it's either #4 or #8 again. I almost think I should have done all at once, but then I wouldn't know which one was the problem.

#3 and #7 through codes, I'm keeping the rest of the Motorcraft coils in case my cheap Amazon ones crap out, I've got ones to replace them with.

You know the coils themselves aren't always the culprit. The boot/Springs are only about $5 each at most parts stores and are likely the problem in a lot of misfire cases.

Coils off Amazon are only $7/ea if you buy the 8-packs.

If I had Money I'd try the Granetilli or S.O.S. cops...but I'm poor lol
