Definitely not worth the time. Its not going to improve what youve got now. Sure it may "look" like a cold air intake but its not. Your factory airbox pulls true cold air in from the fender away from the heat of the engine. If anything look up "GOTTS mod". Thats what I run and most other guys run. It gives a little improvement and costs about 5 bucks.

K&N is good as long as you don't over-oil it when you clean it. Otherwise look at the Afe dry filters. You clean those with a hose and simple green

Yeah if not better. Just because k&n has the biggest name doesnt mean they have the best quality. They DO make quality products but it just depends on if they make the product that fits your needs.

I would go with the afe dry filter. Easier to clean, no oiling required, same result.

Cleaning and re-oiling a filter is simple. Thing that takes the most time is allowing the filter to dry. I've had my CAI since 2003 and that includes the filter it came with.

Mine is like new after 11 years. So as for my personal experience, I'm more than pleased with the life of mine. I'm not familiar with the brand mentioned earlier so I can't comment on it.
