Head gasket blew out on the '76 F250. Just thought I'd post up some pics of the replacement process in case anyone is interested. The ol' girl is finally getting some headers put on too, as well as brand new exhaust all the way back.

    Old exhaust out

Yikes. Coolant in the cylinders. Lots of oil mixed in with the coolant.

    Parts on the bench.

How she sits for the night. Yes I'm sitting inside the engine compartment. Gotta love old vehicles.

What do you guys think of the old exhaust tip locations? This is a good opportunity to change it up but I kinda liked it how it was. Any others suggestions though?

Probably gonna powdercoat the new headers as well. Either silver or black, more than likely gonna go with black.

I like the dual exit 45* angled exhaust. Kind of inbetween these two

    Smaller tips then this one

But closer to the bumper than this one
