Me too bro! haha but I was actually talking to a buddy of mine who was going to straight axle his single cab short bed but it was totaled by a drunk driver :( Buttttttttt he offered me his stock f250 leaf springs for $100! I most likely will do it and then just buy a matching pair of dana 60s. His buddy did just stock leafs up front and clears 40s with no problem!

Oh and I also might have a buyer for my BFGs, said he was going to buy them this week, I won't believe it till I have cash in hand... But I found a set of 3 fairly used 37x12.50r17 Toyo M/Ts for $100 and one practically new for $200 of the same tire. With the left over money from my BFGs I will order one new Toyo, putting the two new ones on the back and the two best used ones up front. With my income taxes I will buy a cheap set of 17s (probably some steelies for now) and then buy some 4.88 gears for the rear. I think I will hold off on the locker until I get Dana 60s front and rear.

Hear is the tire combo I want eventually (Toyo M/Ts and XD Addicts)

Andddd one last pic, pretty much what I want my truck to look like when I'm finished except SAS and no light grey two tone.

Shouldn't be a problem, I can always do some trimming up front if need be and I have a lift shackle kit for the rear.

No! Bad! *slaps wrist* don't put hids in eBay projectors. Don't even waste money on eBay projectors. Look into a retrofit into your lightning heads

Retrofits are a must. I am taking my HIDs out this weekend to go back with regular lights until I can do my retrofit.

Retrofits are what I was referring to but called them projectors on accident :cheers2: I'm pretty new to HIDs, I'll do some research on the retrofits tonight.

But the sale on my tires fell through... Guy offered me $500 cash and said he got a quote for $789 installed for brand new BFGs (had mine listed at $850 obo) so I called the company he got the quote from and they gave me a quote for the same tires for $995... I called the guy out on it and he claims he knows the guy personally lol I wished him luck and went on with my day

Yeah it's pretty lame, but I won't lose any sleep over it!

Now to temporarily jack my own thread :D
Any body ever have an issue with fuel injectors not closing all the way? or maybe even sticking? Girlfriend's 1998 jeep wrangler has been having a few issues with cranking. First time the jeep would crank and crank but no start. Sprayed starting fluid into the TB and it ran for about 2 seconds and died. Instantly thought fuel pump (includes the fuel filter and fuel pressure regulator valve)! Replaced that and it cranked right up. Ran for a day and back to square one with cranking but not starting... P.O. did a hack job on the vehicle (mainly wiring), cut the wiring harness to the fuel pump and poorly spliced it causing a very high resistance, wires were on fire when it was on! fixed that and it starts every time now, but at least once a day it will crank for 5+ seconds and fire up, or if you stop cranking and try a second time it fires up immediately... A possible theory is that one or more injectors aren't closing all the way basically causing a "self-flooding" if you will when she shuts it off. So I ordered 4 new injectors (4 cylinder) and am going to test the old ones. But any other ideas as to what could be causing this? I have been doing a piss load of research so please don't give me the "just google it" response.... The CPS sensor, plugs and wires, battery, ASD and fuel pump relays, and battery terminals have all been replaced. Any other insight is greatly appreciated!

But I have been doing a fair amount of research on a SAS and will be going to my local junk yard friday morning to do some digging, but I do have a few questions... I may have to post the questions in the 250 and 350 section since I'm asking questions about their suspensions and not 150s, but worth a shot!

If I were to get upper coil spring retainers and coil springs from say an 05 f250, but put them on an older (like 78-79) 250 dana 60, I can only assume that they would work? I can get the retainers and coils for a fair price, but will most likely end up getting axles out of an older truck. I have done a little searching but not much.

Also any ideas as to how much lift a stock f250 suspension would give me? I can only assume that it would give me some since my truck is a few thousand pounds lighter so the springs won't sag down as much when the body and frame are resting on them.
