i know this isn't accurate testing but for the 2001 body style 5.4 f150 and expeditions how many miles per tank are you guys getting...moderate driving 50/50 highway and city before my nittos is was getting about 275-325 miles on a tank..now I'm barely breaking 200..tires couldn't have killed it that bad

    How big is your tank?
    How big are your tires?
How big were your old tires?
What gear ratio do you have?

Cold weather also causes a drop in mpg... but there are a lot of different factors in mpg.

With a 26g tank 200 miles is really low. I can get just 250 with my truck and its bad on gas and thats with a 23 gallon tank.

Id say you need to do a tune up.

Tires are a factor. If you dont have a programmer or have recalibrated your speedo then your readings are off. I suspect that your mileage went down some but your not getting an accurate reading. Do you have a tuner?

Soft tires can have an impact on mpg. Happened on an Accord we had one time. Decided to put some "stickier" performance touring tires on in place of a harder tire that came on the car and there was a huge difference in mpg.

phew, Im glad Im not the only one that gets about that. supercrews have 26 gal tanks, while Im 2wd and your 4wd, I have more weight with the cab while you have the t-case/diff...etc Id be estatic if I could get 270-300 lol

but 200 does seem really low, you need a good tuneup, while it may seem to run fine, may need new filters all around
