How Many Miles On Your F Series?

My 89 has either 137k or 237k miles... it rolls over at 99k and I've only had the truck a week so I'm clueless. Haha

Bought it three years ago with 101k and just hit 162k the other day! Been a great truck minus a few small issues.

2003 f150 2wd supercrew

 

original 56K miles on my 88 F150 302. soon to be less on engine (have to rebuild)
181K on 97 Expedition
138K on 02 F250
124.5K on 91 F250 (soon to be less on engine also have to rebuild)
386K on body and 127K on engine trans and t case on 84 Bronco 2
72K on 89 F250 4x4
359K on 89 F350 (have to rebuild engine and putting different trans and differentials in)
I think that is all the fords.

thanks I miss the two fords we got rid of:
93 F250 4x4 super cab long bed D60 SAS 4.30 gears F450 rear springs ZF5 with 460 faded red with 39K on engine 140K on body.
and a 86 F150 4x4 reg cab long bed 3.55LS 302 AOD with a leveling kit and 80K original miles on it.
Also had a 06 F150 5.4L crew short bed 2wd and a 90 Ford E150 351W and another Bronco 2.

Why'd you go to 4.30 on the 93?

Mine has 264000 on it now.

 

I didn't we bought it like that. I had bought it from a buddy whom bought it as his first ford (always drove Cummins trucks) and he bought a crate dropped it in and didn't like the power added some awesome goodies (Voodoo cam, bored to 514 and more) and the truck hated the gears supposedly especially with 35s so he threw some 4.30s in there. It was an awesome truck the ZF5 shifted so smooth it was unbelievable (the clutch that was in it however sucked most of the time it had to power shift). When we sold it the new owners put a high performance clutch in and are still driving it to this day and have blew out a tire totaling the front end and more. That truck was built proof.

probably had 3.55s in it factory. My truck had 4.10s, with a 3300 RPM redline and 33" tires, my top speed was about 84. Put 3.55s in it when I did the SAS, and now I can run at least 95, not that I do it often. Picked the milage up a bit too.

 

Well with that truck we got 8-9 MPGs hauling or not. It did have 3.55s originally but the way this thing was built 3.55s would have sucked. I know that I could only get to about 87 MPH with it but it wasn't a racing truck my 88 F150 is my go fast truck with the C6 and 302 (soon to be built) it is going to be sweet.
