I have a 2007 Expedition EL that now has a driver's seat that will not move horizontally. The other three motors are fine (vertical, tilt, and recline). I have confirmed that I have 12volts going to the motor and I can hear the relay clicking when I try to move the seat. Bottom line-- I need a new motor. Rock auto or go to a local pick and pull yard and get a factory unit. Or eBay if you can find a used one
As it turns out the failed motor is part of the seat track and only sold as a unit -- to the tune of $650 - $900 depending on who you talk to. Rock auto does not carry this part so I am going to a local pick and pull and see if the one Expy they have has the seat I need. Any other thoughts on where to try? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
