Put a bottle of ISO-HEET in the gas tank to see if this will make a difference. Also started pulling COP connectors while it was missing, they all made the misfire worse so i don't think it's a cop. Plugs are brand new with the exception if #8.

After letting the truck run for about 15 minutes with that HEET in the tank and after me messing with the COP connectors the idle leveled out. I don't know if a connector was sliding off or if the HEET made some sort of improvement. I still have a stumble when I give it has but the idle is great, y'all might be able to hear it in the sound clip. Won't have time to really get at it till this weekend.

I would probably have to re-drill & tap the head too!

fortunately, I just got 3 codes on the way home from work.

    P0300: Random Misfire
    P0305: Cylinder 5 Misfire
P0316: Misfire detected on start up.

I noticed the misfire is worse under load. COP on 5 could be bad. I pulled the damn plug the other day, I just put those in last week. I checked the gap and cleaned it off with a towel, it had some coolant and **** stuck on it.

    might have to check compression.

    Found the clunk!

When I replaced my transmission crossmember last year I replaced the mount/shock absorber that goes between the crossmember and the trans, that mount/absorber broke. All of the rubber pulled apart and actually swelled. Got the new part and reinstalled. Fixed the issue.
